News - Middle East: The West Bank has experienced a significant surge in violence by the Israeli enemy military operations in recent months, particularly in areas like Jenin.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement condemned the "new link in a continuous chain of war crimes" by the Israeli enemy after three young men were killed in an early morning raid in the village of Kafr Qud, west of Jenin.

In a press statement, the group affirmed that Israeli enemy forces used sniper fire and an aerial bombardment during the operation. It further explained that occupation forces surrounded the house and prevented ambulance crews from reaching the scene to rescue the wounded, calling it a "blatant violation of all international and humanitarian norms and conventions."

The movement condemned the use of sniper weapons and aerial bombardment in civilian-populated residential areas as a "dangerous escalation that reflects the level of criminality and brutality reached by the Zionist enemy army."

The incident was framed as part of a broader, systematic campaign of incursions, raids, and demolitions carried out by Israeli forces across the West Bank. Islamic Jihad asserted that in recent months alone, the Israeli army has destroyed over 1,000 homes in the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams camps, leading to the forced displacement of more than 25,000 citizens.

The statement also highlighted ongoing home demolitions in the Negev, citing the recent demolition of 40 houses in the village of "Al-Sir" as part of a clear plan to uproot Palestinians from their land and forcibly displace them.

Wider West Bank Escalation

The reports from the West Bank describe a daily escalation by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, involving widespread violations including raids, arrests, and attacks on civilians and farmers, amid what observers call an absence of effective international oversight.

According to Almasirah correspondent, since dawn on Tuesday, a special Zionist force infiltrated the Kafr Qud area south of Jenin, surrounding three Palestinian resistance fighters in a house and a cave. Intense clashes ensued for hours between the fighters and the Israeli enemy army, involving aerial bombardment of the building and the cave, as well as targeting the fighters' vehicles. The occupation forces later announced the death of the three fighters and the withholding of their bodies.

The wider Israeli campaign today reportedly included dozens of incursions across various West Bank cities, including Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Tubas, Jericho, Hebron, Nablus, and Tulkarm. These operations resulted in the arrest of ten Palestinians, including a 15-year-old child, alongside physical assaults on detainees and residents, vandalism of home contents, and the demolition of several Palestinian houses under alleged pretexts related to unpermitted construction in "Area C," where Palestinians are largely denied building permits.

Attacks by Zionist settlers on Palestinian farmers have also escalated, particularly during the olive harvest season, involving the destruction of agricultural crops, sabotage of water networks, and theft of property in areas like the Khallet al-Khader al-Farsiyah in the northern Jordan Valley.
