News – Yemen: Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al‑Din al‑Houthi, sent a condolence cable to Hezbollah Secretary‑General Sheikh Naim Qassem following the martyrdom of senior jihadist commander Sayyed Haitham bin Ali al‑Tabtabaei and his companions, who were killed in a new Zionist targeting operation in Lebanon.

In his message, Sayyed Abdulmalik extended special condolences to the families of the martyrs, congratulating them on the honorable conclusion of martyrdom after long years of struggle, sacrifice, and achievement.

He affirmed that the life of al‑Tabtabaei was marked by jihad, giving, and righteous deeds, noting that Allah enabled him to attain significant accomplishments and play a major role in defending the oppressed across the region. 

He added that the commander’s contributions and sacrifices will remain enduring in the field of jihad, alongside the honor of martyrdom he attained in the path of Allah.

Addressing the implications of the attack, Sayyed Abdulmalik said that by assassinating al‑Tabtabaei and his companions and through its ongoing aggression on Lebanon and Gaza, the Israeli enemy once again reveals to the peoples and governments of the region the depth of its entrenched aggression and criminal behavior.

He warned against relying on the commitments of the Zionist entity, emphasizing that the Israeli enemy adheres to no agreements—particularly while enjoying American protection, support, and political cover.

He noted that the enemy’s escalation is met with complacency from certain governments, and that some parties go so far as to adopt its demands aimed at stripping targeted peoples of their weapons and sources of strength.

Sayyed Abdulmalik expressed full confidence in Hezbollah’s steadfastness, rooted in its faith, authentic jihadist path, and long record of practical success and resilience in the face of challenges. He praised the advanced role of the resistance movement, saying Hezbollah’s contributions and sacrifices remain fundamental across the fronts of jihad and resistance.

Reaffirming Yemen’s position, The Leader stated: “We affirm our full solidarity with Hezbollah and stand by its side in confronting the Israeli‑Zionist tyranny targeting our entire nation.” He also underscored certainty in the divine promise of the eventual disappearance of the temporary Zionist entity, regardless of its arrogance and crimes.

The Leader concluded his cable by warning the nation against ongoing attempts to subdue and pacify it, stressing that such schemes will continue to fail. He said the correct and realistic path is conscious, responsible action to confront the enemy, resist its conspiracies, and uphold the banner of struggle.

Hezbollah has confirmed the martyrdom of senior commander Haytham Ali al-Tabatabai and four resistance fighters in a “treacherous Israeli attack” on Beirut’s southern suburb. 

The group praised Tabatabai’s decades-long role in strengthening the resistance and vowed continued struggle against the Zionist enemy. 

The strike, which killed at least five people and injured 28, has drawn renewed scrutiny over Washington’s military and political support for the Israeli enemy, with US officials acknowledging they were not informed of the strike’s timing or target.
