News - Yemen: Two African migrants were injured on Monday after Saudi forces targeted border areas in Yemen’s Sa'adah province, in yet another escalation of cross-border attacks.

According to a local correspondent, the two migrants were wounded by Saudi gunfire near the border district of Shada. The reporter added that Saudi troops also shelled and opened fire on villages in the Al-Thabet area of the border district of Qatabir using artillery and heavy machine guns.

The latest incident follows a similar attack on Sunday in which three African migrants were injured by Saudi fire near the districts of Qatabir and Munabbih, marking an additional entry in what local authorities describe as the coalition’s “black record” of grave violations.

These repeated attacks highlight the continued Saudi bombardment of Sa'adah’s border regions—strikes that take place on an almost daily basis and target civilians and migrants alike with artillery and direct fire. Local officials say the ongoing assaults constitute a blatant violation of UN-sponsored peace understandings and further undermine efforts to stabilize the humanitarian situation in northern Yemen.
