News - Yemen: The Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, honored the Political Bureau of Ansarullah with the “Al-Aqsa Flood Shield” in recognition of its supportive and steadfast positions toward the Palestinian cause and the resistance.

Through its representative in Yemen, Ahmad Baraka, the movement and its military wing presented the honorary shield to Hazem Al-Ashad, member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah, praising the Bureau’s contributions in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause.

During the ceremony, Al-Ashad affirmed that the stance of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau alongside the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance stems from the religious, humanitarian, and moral duty of the Yemeni people to stand with the causes of the Ummah—foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

He pointed to the close attention of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in following developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the Israeli enemy’s repeated violations of the Gaza ceasefire, and its ongoing aggression against Lebanon and Syria.

Al-Ashad expressed his gratitude to the Islamic Jihad Movement and the Al-Quds Brigades for the honor, noting that it reflects the deep alignment between the Palestinian resistance factions and Ansarullah’s Political Bureau in confronting the Israeli enemy, its American partner, and their proxies.

The relationship between Ansarullah in Yemen and the Palestinian resistance factions, including the Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, Al-Quds Brigades, has strengthened significantly since the start of the Israeli enemy’s aggression on Gaza in October 2023. Ansarullah has positioned itself as a key supporter of the Palestinian cause politically, militarily, and rhetorically, launching operations in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea to pressure the Zionist entity and its allies.

The Islamic Jihad Movement has repeatedly expressed appreciation for Yemen’s stance, especially the speeches of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who has consistently voiced full support for the Palestinian resistance and condemned the ongoing aggression on Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
