News- Middle East: Israeli attack helicopters targeted the city of Tubas and the town of Qabatiya, as the occupying forces intensified their military campaign across the occupied West Bank.

US-made Apache helicopters belonging to the Israeli military fired multiple rounds over Tubas, with bursts of gunfire echoing through the city several times on Tuesday evening.

In Qabatiya, south of Jenin, the helicopters unleashed heavy live ammunition over the Al-Zakarneh Mountain area, intensifying the military assault.

The governorate of Tubas has endured more than a week of relentless military operations, leaving widespread destruction of infrastructure, damaged homes, hundreds of Palestinians injured, and dozens arbitrarily arrested.

According to a statement from the local municipality, the Israeli army announced on Tuesday that a full curfew will remain in effect in Qabatiya until further notice.

Also on Tuesday, Israeli forces stormed Nablus, deploying large military reinforcements in the western parts of the city.

Access to the Zawata roundabout and surrounding areas was blocked, and several Palestinian families were forcibly evicted from their homes ahead of planned demolitions, carried out under the pretext of “security concerns.”

On Monday evening, the Israeli military entered Hebron following a car-ramming operation near the Kiryat Arba settlement that injured an Israeli soldier. The army later announced it had killed the resistance fighter behind the operation.

Israeli forces entered Hebron from multiple directions, sealing the city’s entrances with checkpoints, raiding areas near hospitals, and stationing troops at the gates.

Meanwhile, the Israeli regime continues to prevent international and Palestinian journalists from documenting the ongoing atrocities in the occupied territories.

These operations are part of a broader military escalation across the occupied West Bank in recent days, marked by raids, home demolitions, and city-wide closures.

During its two-year-long genocidal war on Gaza that started on October 7, 2023, Israel has killed more than 1,085 Palestinians and injured 10,700 others through attacks by its army and illegal settlers across the occupied West Bank. Over 20,500 Palestinians have also been abducted by the occupying forces.

In a landmark opinion issued in July 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Al-Quds.
