Saudi Forces Renew Shelling on Yemen’s Sa'adah Border Region
News - Yemen: Saudi forces launched a new round of artillery and machine-gun attacks on Wednesday targeting Al-Raqw Valley in the border district of Munabbih, Sa'adah province, according to Almasirah’s correspondent.
The latest assault comes amid a series of similar incidents along the Yemen–Saudi border. On Tuesday, a Yemeni civilian and an African migrant were injured after Saudi border guards opened fire on residential areas in Sa'adah. Two other African migrants were wounded on Monday under similar circumstances.
These repeated attacks add to a growing list of violations that highlight the ongoing Saudi aggression against border communities in Sa'adah. Local sources say the shelling and direct gunfire occur almost daily, endangering civilians and migrants and constituting a clear breach of UN-sponsored peace understandings.
