News - Yemen: Officials in the National Salvation Government affirmed that the state of no peace nor war in which the Yemeni crisis is stagnating is nothing but an extension of the aggression against the Yemeni people.

Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Rowaishan said, in a statement to Almasirah: "The state of no peace nor war is an existing threat."

He added, "One of the objectives of the current situation is to exhaust Yemen economically and politically," pointing out that this will not be achieved by the forces of aggression.

Al-Ruwaishan explained that accepting the peace does not mean Yemen will give up developing military forces, and the forces of aggression should realize this, considering that the international community has not yet understood Sanaa's policy until now.

For his part, the Secretary of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Yasser Al-Huori, stressed that the revolutionary leadership deals with all changes wisely, and the state of no peace nor war will not extend so long.

Al-Huori pointed out that the American moves foil peace efforts, oppose the entitlements of the Yemeni people, and deepen the suffering in Yemen. He explained that addressing the employees' salaries issue and the total lifting of the siege on the port of Hodeidah and Sana'a airport are opposed by the US and its tools.

Al-Houri revealed that Sanaa is discussing strategic political and military options to confront the US policy towards Yemen.

Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, indicated that efforts to stop the looting of oil succeeded, but the looting of resources has not stopped all yet, pointing out that there is a lot of resources that is looted in Hadhramaut and Socotra Island, which must be used for the benefit of the Yemeni people.
