News - Yemen: The criminal Saudi army committed a new crime against civilians following renewed shelling on border areas in Saadah province, posing yet another threat to efforts for de-escalation and peace.

Almasirah correspondent in Saadah reported that a young boy was martyred after being struck by shrapnel from Saudi artillery shelling that targeted the Ghafira area in Al-Dhahir district.

The correspondent explained that the victim suffered a severe shrapnel injury, which led to his immediate martyrdom.

With this crime and the daily atrocities previously committed by the Saudi army against residents of border areas, the Saudi regime is undermining efforts for de-escalation and peace, escalating tensions in response to American and British desires.

Border areas in Saada are subjected to daily shelling with various types of medium and heavy weapons, resulting in continuous civilian casualties. Meanwhile, the Saudi army continues its crimes against African migrants, despite international reports condemning it for committing horrific massacres against them under brutal torture and inhumane treatment.

The international community's laxity and complicity in the face of these crimes encourage the criminal Saudi army to commit further atrocities, highlighting the urgent need for deterrence to protect civilians and innocent lives.
