The latest developments came in response to the Zionist enemy’s failed assassination attempt targeting a Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha. While international reactions largely stopped at condemnations focused on Qatar, Yemen issued forceful political and military responses underscoring its commitment to resistance and active deterrence.

Leadership Response

President Mahdi Al-Mashat reaffirmed that effective confrontation is the only path forward, stressing that diplomacy has been shut down by the Zionist entity’s crimes and that “active deterrence” remains the sole viable option.

The government in Sana'a, itself the target of a cowardly Zionist assassination two weeks ago, issued one of the strongest statements internationally, declaring it will continue confronting the enemy until its downfall. The government urged Arab and Islamic states to recognize the looming danger and join the resistance before it is too late.

The Association of Yemeni Scholars called on Muslim nations, peoples, and elites to unify ranks against the Zionist entity and its American backers, warning Gulf states in particular to reconsider their alignment with US bases that ultimately serve to protect the Israeli enemy.

Yemen’s political parties, parliament, and Shura Council also issued statements centering Gaza as the primary cause, emphasizing that jihad against the Zionist and American enemies is the path to liberation and victory.

Military Operations

The Yemeni Armed Forces responded directly with precision strikes. Shortly after the Doha attack, the Zionist entity admitted that several drones targeted sensitive sites in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area, stirring panic and recalling the Ramon Airport strike that had shaken Israel’s defenses days earlier.

Hours later, Yemen escalated with a hypersonic missile strike on multiple sensitive targets in occupied Al-Quds. Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e confirmed the use of a multi-warhead hypersonic missile, stressing that each warhead was directed at a separate, carefully chosen target.

Earlier in the day, the Air Force had carried out three drone operations against Ramon Airport and two vital sites in Umm al-Rashrash, all of which successfully hit their objectives.

Military analysts note that the introduction of multi-warhead technology significantly expands Yemen’s target bank inside occupied Palestine, allowing a single missile to strike several objectives simultaneously. This represents a new phase in Yemen’s deterrence capabilities.

For the third consecutive day, Yemen has maintained aerial operations, signaling that the coming phase will involve waves of drones complemented by advanced hypersonic missiles. Brig. Gen.
