In a speech on Friday, marking the opening of the summer courses, Sayyed Abdulmalik said: “The Israeli aggression on Gaza is manifested in the brutal criminal practices against the Palestinian people,” pointing out that “international organizations testify to the famine in Gaza, with wheat and flour running out from bakeries that used to distribute bread to the Palestinian people.”
He indicated that the Israeli enemy has been practicing the crime of starvation and preventing food and medicine from reaching the Palestinian people in Gaza for over a month. He added that “the Israeli enemy resumed the genocide, dropping American bombs on the Palestinian people in their tents and the ruins of their destroyed homes,” emphasizing that “the Israeli enemy resumed its criminal actions more than half a month ago with the same brutality and aggression it had for 15 months.”
He clarified that “the Israeli enemy does not respect laws, agreements, values, or ethics, and commits the most heinous crimes with complete savagery. The Israeli enemy focuses on attacking the humanitarian side in everything related to executions and preventing all aspects of life,” adding that “the Israeli enemy commits all kinds of crimes in Gaza with American encouragement and is provided with weapons to kill children and women.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that “the Americans openly and explicitly support what the Israeli enemy does, and when it resumed its aggression, the White House confirmed its support for everything the Israelis do,” noting that “what is happening in Palestine is happening with full American support for the Israeli enemy.”
The leader continued, “What the Israeli enemy is doing in the West Bank aims at displacement, and what happened in Jenin is a complete catastrophe,” pointing out that “Al-Aqsa Mosque is continuously targeted by incursions, and the movements of Ben-Gvir show targeting and escalation against one of the greatest Islamic sanctities.”
He added that “the nation faces the danger of the Israeli enemy’s crimes and its aim to liquidate the Palestinian cause with full American support,” noting that “the Americans are infiltrating the countryside of Damascus, guarded by local armed groups, and that the Takfiri groups in Syria have no concern but to kill peaceful, unarmed civilians, and they stand by watching the Israeli enemy’s killings, airstrikes, and destruction without any serious and practical response to counter it.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized that “the Israeli plan, revealed by top Zionist criminals, is to fragment the Gaza Strip. In addition to cutting off and isolating parts of the strip and tightening the siege, the enemy is opening what they call voluntary migration,” asking: “What voluntary migration when American bombs are being dropped on the Palestinian people in their tents and on the ruins of their destroyed homes, and they are starving?”
He pointed out that “in light of what is happening in Palestine, and the level of crime and genocide being inflicted on the Palestinian people, it is unacceptable for this to become a routine situation that people merely watch with statements issued about it.
Silence and indifference are also unacceptable, and it must not become a daily routine,” stressing that “this is the killing of the human conscience, a betrayal of values, principles, and ethics, and an allowance for barbarism, savagery, and complete criminality to dominate and prevail in the region and the world,” clarifying that “this poses a threat to all peoples, and it is a very serious issue, with punishment from Allah.”
Regarding these developments, Sayyed Abdulmalik called for the resumption of activities once again, even more than before.
He said: “It is important for demonstrations to resume to express solidarity with the Palestinian people, demand an end to the genocide, and call for the cessation of forced displacement efforts against the Palestinian people.”
He also called for “extensive activity, and for pressure to be put on the government to adopt a humanitarian policy supporting the Palestinian people.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik warned that “the crimes in Gaza must not become a silent situation that spreads across the region’s countries,” noting that “there is pressure and harassment by the Americans on activists, pushing them to be deported.” However, he called for “wide activity because the Zionist danger threatens the region and threatens human values.”
The leader explained that the Americans and Israelis are heading towards barbarism and the denial of all norms, values, systems, and ethics, calling on international institutions to adopt more serious stances.
He also urged the United Nations to withdraw its recognition of the Zionist entity, and called on cultural and media institutions to move away from silence and to take action, even if it's limited to boycotting.
He continued, saying: "There must be attention given to spending in the path of Allah, and to media and cultural solidarity across various countries and peoples, instead of silence and watching." He clarified that "the nation can activate many things, including political and diplomatic boycotts against the Israeli enemy."
He explained that "Yemen’s widespread and diverse solidarity with Palestine enrages the American enemy. Therefore, it has moved to aggression against Yemen in partnership with the Israeli enemy. Together, they work within the Zionist project to implement new steps under the equation of desecration. Therefore, there must be a free stance rejecting this great tyranny and what they are doing against our nation and against Palestine."
