News - Yemen:   In a speech delivered on Thursday, Yemen’s leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi asserted that ongoing U.S. military aggression has inadvertently contributed to the growth and development of Yemen's military capabilities.  

Sayyed Abdulmalik stated that the Yemeni Armed Forces have demonstrated a steady increase in operational capacity over the past 15 months of engagement in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" conflict. He emphasized that American attacks have failed to weaken Yemen's military strength and vowed that such efforts would continue to fail "by God's will."  

He characterized the U.S. targeting of civilian infrastructure - including water tanks, health facilities, and residential areas - as evidence of strategic failure and desperation.  

"The Americans can bomb homes and commit crimes, but they can never break the spirit of a nation that draws its strength from faith in God," he stated, dismissing the psychological impact of media propaganda campaigns.  

Sayyed Abdulmalik interpreted recent U.S. military escalations, including B-52 bomber sorties launched from bases in the Indian Ocean, as indicators of growing American concern about Yemen's strategic impact on Israel's economy and regional security.  

"We have chosen to face our enemies as lions, not as subjugated people," he proclaimed. "Every sacrifice made on this path of dignity is fruitful under God's promise - unlike the path of those who accept humiliation."  

The speech comes amid ongoing tensions in the Red Sea region, where Yemeni forces have maintained pressure on international shipping lanes in solidarity with Palestinians.
