Leader Warns of Israeli Ambitions to Fully Dominate Lebanon, Backed by U.S.

News - Yemen: The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi affirmed that the Israeli enemy seeks complete control over Lebanon, aiming to subjugate and dominate it entirely.

In a speech Thursday, regarding the latest developments in the Zionist aggression on Gaza and regional and international affairs, the leader explained that the Zionist enemy, with American encouragement and support, continues to violate agreements in Lebanon, emphasizing that daily attacks on the country are not new. The Zionist regime’s ambitions in Lebanon are clear, as it considers the nation part of its so-called "Greater Israel" project.

Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that had Israel succeeded in its large-scale aggression against Lebanon, it would have fully invaded the country. However, Hezbollah has achieved historic victories against the Israeli enemy—unprecedented in the Muslim and Arab world’s struggle against the Zionist entity.

Israeli Plunder of Lebanese Resources and Ongoing Violations
Sayyed Abdulmalik highlighted that Israel now seeks to plunder the Litani River, demonstrating clear and aggressive ambitions. The enemy continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty through airstrikes, artillery fire, and the occupation of Lebanese territory.

"The Israeli enemy is deliberately preventing displaced Lebanese citizens from safely returning to their homes, even targeting temporary shelters built for those whose houses were destroyed," he stated. He stressed that Israel poses a real and existential threat to Lebanon, describing it as "the root of evil and destruction" facing the nation.

Hezbollah’s Vital Role in Defending Lebanon
The leader underscored that Hezbollah plays a crucial and legitimate role in saving Lebanon, urging all Lebanese—officials and civilians alike—to support the resistance, as it is an indispensable necessity for national survival.

He warned that abandoning the resistance option would lead to catastrophic consequences, including Lebanon’s occupation and the loss of its freedom and independence.

Call for National Priorities: Expelling the Enemy, Not Disarming the Resistance
The leader stressed that Lebanon’s true national priority must be expelling the Israeli enemy from occupied Lebanese lands, halting its aggression, and forcing it to compensate for destruction in southern Lebanon.

He condemned those who ignore Lebanon’s real priorities and instead adopt Israel’s demands—such as disarming the resistance—as a grave mistake. The focus, he said, should be on compelling Israel to fully implement agreements and withdraw from all Lebanese territory.

Zionist Expansion in Syria: A Broader Threat
Regarding Zionist encroachment in Syria, Sayyed Abdulmalik confirmed that the Israeli entity continues its violations, establishing nine military bases in southern Syria and imposing red lines on extremist groups and their backers.

He concluded by stating that Israel’s crimes in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria prove that our nations urgently need strong deterrence and self-defense capabilities.
