It added, "This victory, which shattered the myth of the invincible Israeli army, was achieved by the grace of Allah, the sacrifices of the Yemeni people, the wisdom of the leadership, and the bravery of the Armed Forces. It highlights America’s failure to stop Yemen from supporting Gaza and symbolizes the possibility of defeating the Zionist entity — a motivation for Arab and Islamic unity in confronting it."
The government further warned: "Criminal Netanyahu must think carefully before threatening the Yemeni people. He must understand that he will never achieve his goals in Gaza. Yemen, engaged in the battle of the Promised Liberation and Sacred Jihad, will not abandon Gaza until the aggression and blockade are ended."
The government extended its salute to all free people of the Ummah who celebrated this victory, calling it a win for all the free and a call to strengthen unity and resilience.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a also warned that continued US aggression will push Yemen toward more powerful retaliatory actions against Israel and its sponsors.
The ministry stressed that ongoing US aggression will not sway Yemen from its moral, religious, and humanitarian position in support of the Palestinian people and their brave resistance in Gaza — a commitment that will remain until the aggression and blockade imposed by the Zionist entity end.
It reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state on all of their national land with Al-Quds as its capital.
The statement also highlighted that American aggression is a clear violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and a blatant breach of the UN Charter, which prohibits the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.
It concluded by noting that American criminality is merely a continuation of the aggression on Yemen that began on March 26, 2015, when 17 nations were mobilized under Saudi leadership — fully engineered, directed, and supported by the United States.
Since March 15, the United States, under the administration of President Donald Trump, has intensified its military campaign against Yemen, launching daily airstrikes and claiming over 1,000 targets hit. This escalation is aimed at halting Yemen’s attacks on Israeli and Israel-linked vessels in the Red Sea, as well as its growing number of missile and drone strikes deep inside occupied Palestinian territories.
In response, Yemeni forces have sharply expanded their operations. On Saturday alone, they launched their fourth missile strike in 24 hours, targeting a military site south of Jaffa. These attacks triggered air raid sirens across several locations in occupied Palestine. Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e confirmed the strikes as part of Yemen’s continued retaliation against Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded by labeling the Yemeni forces as a threat, vowing severe measures against them. However, Yemen has remained undeterred, declaring its operations a direct act of support for Gaza amidst the genocidal war.
The US, backing Israel, formed a maritime task force in December 2023 to secure shipping routes to Israeli ports, which has further provoked Yemeni retaliation. Since then, Yemen has escalated its targeting of strategic Israeli and American military assets, including warships off its coast—signaling a deepening confrontation in the region.
