Supreme Political Council Member: Strike on Ben Gurion Confirms Yemen’s Advanced Capabilities, Commitment to Gaza

News - Yemen: Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces' strike on Lod’s Ben Gurion Airport demonstrates the military development previously mentioned by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.

In a post on X, Al-Houthi stated: "The blessed strike confirms the development spoken of by the Leader. It also highlights the failure of the region’s and the entity's defense systems, as well as the continued failure of the American aggression to halt Yemeni support for Gaza."

Al-Houthi called on enemies to reflect on this operation, which plowed through Lod Airport and achieved a direct hit that the enemy could not conceal. He urged them to reconsider the crimes they have committed in their attempts to stop the Yemeni support—which has failed to achieve their goals.

Al-Houthi also emphasized the importance of continuing support for Gaza as a matter of faith, an honorable stance, and a necessary effort to confront the genocidal crimes and terrorism of the Zionist entity.

He reiterated that halting the aggression, ending the barbarism, and lifting the siege on Gaza is the shortest and least costly path compared to the ongoing commission of war crimes and futile American recklessness threatening the region.

He stressed that the only solution lies in ending the aggression and lifting the siege on Gaza—or facing further quantitative and qualitative military advancements from the heroes of Yemen, Palestine, and others confronting American-Israeli terrorism.

In a speech last Thursday, on the anniversary of Al-Sarkha, the leader stated: "The Americans sometimes resort to carrying out their aggressive operations from long distances before entering Yemeni airspace," emphasizing that "they have failed to achieve their objectives. They have neither weakened nor eliminated our capabilities, nor have they been able to stop our operations."

He pointed out that Yemeni operations continue deep into occupied Palestine against the Israeli enemy, and the American enemy has failed to halt them. He clarified that naval operations persist, with a complete blockade imposed on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea. The Israeli enemy is in despair over the possibility of resuming its use of Red Sea navigation.

On Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed in a televised statement that failure of the American and Israeli defense systems to intercept the missile aimed at Ben Gurion Airport.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 50,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
