News- Yemen: The American-Israeli aggression launched a series of intense airstrikes on Tuesday, targeting the capital, Sana’a, and Amran Governorate, in a renewed escalation aimed at Yemen’s civilian infrastructure and vital facilities.

The strikes heavily targeted Sana’a International Airport, causing significant damage to this vital air navigation hub. The attacks also hit the Dhahban central power station in Bani Al-Harith District and the Hiziyaz power station in the southern part of the capital—direct strikes that risk exacerbating the humanitarian crisis by disrupting essential electricity services for civilians.

In Amran Governorate, the aggression extended to economic infrastructure, with airstrikes targeting the Amran Cement Factory. 

The deliberate targeting of factories and civilian facilities is seen as part of a broader strategy to cripple Yemen’s economic capabilities and deepen the suffering of its population.

The United States and its Zionist ally continue to escalate attacks on Yemen in response to its growing support and operations in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

These assaults are part of the ongoing US aggression against the Yemeni people since mid-March, aimed at pressuring Sana’a to abandon its principled support for the Palestinian people, who are enduring a genocidal war waged by the Zionist entity in the besieged Gaza Strip.
