News- Yemen: Yemen's Ministry of Health and Environment has announced that 38 citizens were killed and injured so far—according to a preliminary toll—due to the ongoing American-Zionist aggression on the Capital and the governorates of Sana’a and Amran.

The ministry stated that 16 citizens were injured in Zionist airstrikes targeting the Amran Cement Factory.

It also confirmed that two citizens were martyred and seven others injured following strikes on the central Dhahban power station in Bani Al-Harith District. Two additional citizens were injured in the Asr area of Ma’in District.

The statement further noted that one citizen was martyred and three others injured in the American-Zionist airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport. Meanwhile, the targeting of the Hiziyaz central power station in Sana’a left seven more citizens injured.

The Ministry emphasized that civil defense and ambulance teams continue their search and rescue efforts, working tirelessly to locate victims and those missing beneath the rubble.

It condemned the continued American-Israeli aggression on service facilities and civilian infrastructure, describing it as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

The ministry affirmed, “Targeting and disabling key humanitarian entry points such as ports and airports is a hostile act aimed at tightening the blockade, starving the Yemeni people, and increasing the suffering of patients, travelers, and the population by preventing the entry of food and medicine.”

The US and its Zionist counterpart continue to escalate their assaults on Yemen in response to Yemen’s growing support and operations in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

These attacks come as part of the ongoing US aggression against the Yemeni people since mid-March, aimed at pressuring Sana’a to abandon its stance in support of the Palestinian people, who are currently facing a genocidal war by the Zionist entity in the besieged Gaza Strip.
