News - Middle East: The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas affirmed that the positions of Arab and Islamic countries fall short of matching the scale of the disaster caused by the genocide and starvation campaign in Gaza.

In a statement issued Sunday, the movement said the world must loudly reject the crimes of the "butcher Netanyahu," who is using starvation as a vile weapon against children and unarmed civilians.

The statement pointed out that the Zionist entity is blocking thousands of aid trucks from entering Gaza while children die of hunger, describing this as a compounded war crime.

Hamas added: "We support the stance of international organizations that reject any arrangements which disregard humanitarian principles in the delivery and distribution of aid."

The Israeli military launched a surprise aerial campaign on the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing hundreds, injuring many more, and shattering a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, along with the deal on exchanging Israeli captives for Palestinian prisoners, after 19 months of brutal aggression.

The ongoing Israeli war has so far killed at least 52,829 Palestinians and injured 119,554 others. Most of the victims are women and children.
