600 Flights Canceled in a Week: Yemen's Strikes Shake Enemy Economy

News - Middle East: The wave of international airlines canceling flights to Lod Airport (which the enemy refers to as "Ben Gurion") is increasing following Yemen's ongoing operations targeting the airport.

The Hebrew newspaper Globes pointed out that Yemeni operations have caused the cancellation of between 600 and 700 flights to the enemy entity in just one week. Data from the occupation's airport authority showed a sharp decline in daily passenger traffic over the past week.

The Zionist enemy never imagined that Yemen—separated by seas and located 2,000 kilometers away from the occupied territories—would hasten the end of this criminal entity and pose an unprecedented security, military, and economic threat to the occupation.

The sincere Yemeni military operations, launched at a time when the world remained silent and abandoned the oppressed and wounded in Gaza, have had the greatest impact in striking the enemy, destroying its strongholds, and increasing fear and panic among the usurpers. Alarm sirens now dominate the scene in the entity's capital and all occupied areas due to Yemen’s transcontinental hypersonic ballistic missiles.

The enemy entity has suffered heavy losses due to the continuation of Yemeni military operations deep within its territory, with the economic sector being the hardest hit—an impact that will extend for decades. The travel and tourism sector, in particular, has seen an unprecedented decline since the beginning of the occupation.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed a significant rise in flight ticket prices to and from "Israel" as major airlines suspended operations following a Yemeni-made ballistic missile strike on Lod Airport (Zionist-named "Ben Gurion") a week ago.

In this context, the Zionist Channel 12 revealed the embarrassing situation amid the continued enforcement of Yemen’s air blockade on the enemy’s airports.

The channel stated that last Friday’s attack on Lod Airport raised serious questions about the ability of airlines to continue flying to occupied Jaffa, noting that "the missiles coming from Yemen are meticulously crafted in the 'language of aviation' and are directed at foreign airlines."

It mentioned that Wizz Air's cancellation of flights means the suspension of 10 daily flights to and from occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) and thousands of tickets weekly. The channel called for reaching out to Trump to persuade him to intervene with the American airline United to resume flights to the enemy entity.

Zionist Channel 12 noted that Germany’s chancellor is expected to arrive in the coming days, presenting an opportunity to discuss the return of Lufthansa flights. It also stressed the need to persuade major airlines to resume flights to "Tel Aviv."

The enemy entity’s fears are growing that the suspension of airline operations could affect the entire summer season, dealing a harsh blow to the Israeli enemy’s economy. It confirmed that the suspension of flights to Lod Airport is a "political-economic" event that could impact the entire aviation season.

It added, "What concerns the settlers even more is the rising prices—not just in the aviation sector but across all fields."

On Friday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced a series of military operations targeting Israeli sites, including a precision strike on Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa. The attack, carried out with a hypersonic ballistic missile, reportedly struck its target with precision.

According to military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, “Israeli air defense systems failed to intercept the missile, forcing millions of settlers into shelters and causing a nearly hour-long suspension of airport operations.” He described the attack as part of Yemen’s continued enforcement of a no-fly zone against what it calls the “criminal Israeli entity.”
