News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the execution of military operations targeting Lod Airport (commonly known as Ben Gurion Airport) in occupied Jaffa using ballistic missiles and drones.

In a televised statement, Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e confirmed that the Rocketry Force struck the airport with two ballistic missiles—one of them a hypersonic Palestain-2 missile and the other a Zulfiqar missile.

He stated that the operation successfully hit its target, causing millions of occupying settlers to flee to bomb shelters and disrupting air traffic at the airport for nearly an hour.

Earlier, on Saturday morning, Sare'e added, the Yemeni Air Force also conducted a drone strike on the same airport using a drone named Yafa.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed that these operations are in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance, and in protest against the genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli enemy in Gaza.

They renewed their call to the Islamic world, questioning whether the two-billion-strong Muslim Ummah is truly unable to save two million fellow Muslims from the threat of genocide and starvation.

They stressed that this widespread silence and inaction only embolden the enemy to escalate its aggression against more nations, affirming that Yemen—with its steadfast people, faithful leadership, and committed military—will continue its operations until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is lifted.

Since October 2023, Yemeni forces have relentlessly targeted various locations across the occupied territories in response to the regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. 

These military operations have included both naval and aerial blockades, severely disrupting the regime’s economy by raising the cost of delivering goods and repeatedly striking Lod Airport, the regime’s main air terminal. 

In retaliation, the Israeli enemy has intensified its deadly attacks against Yemen. Despite this, Yemenis remain steadfast, vowing to continue their strikes as long as the regime persists in its genocidal campaign and the harsh siege imposed on Gaza.
