News - Middle East: The statement by the Yemeni Armed Forces announcing a navigation ban on Haifa Port has sparked new fear within the Zionist circles and forced the US enemy to adopt a cautious stance, stepping back from confronting Yemen’s deterrence path.

Following the announcement, the Hebrew site JDN reported news expressing significant concern over the new Yemeni naval escalation. The site said that the Yemenis pose a new threat and announce the imposition of a naval blockade on Haifa Port.

It pointed out that the announcement of the start of the Haifa Port blockade comes a day after the Yemenis threatened to escalate attacks on Lod Airport.

Meanwhile, the US enemy expressed its commitment to avoiding escalation in response to Yemen’s deterrence measures. Acting US Navy Operations Chief James Kilby limited his remarks to warning about the dangers of falling into miscalculations regarding Yemen.

He stated that understanding Yemeni behavior and not underestimating them is what should be focused on, affirming that although Yemen is not as powerful as China, it still represents a threat.

Earlier on Monday, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced the decision to impose a naval blockade on the Port of Haifa, mirroring the earlier successful blockade of the Port of Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat), which led to its complete shutdown.

This latest move follows Yemen’s imposition of a de facto aerial blockade on Lod Airport (Ben Gurion) and is part of an expanding strategy to isolate the Israeli regime regionally and globally until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.
