News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the successful execution of a military operation targeting Lod Airport, located in the Jaffa area of the occupied Palestinian territories, using a Zulfiqar ballistic missile.

In an official statement issued Sunday, the Armed Forces confirmed that the strike achieved its intended objective—forcing four million Israelis into shelters and halting air traffic at the airport.

The statement emphasized that the operation was carried out in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance fighters. It was described as a response to the ongoing genocide and starvation in Gaza, as well as to the Zionist regime’s continued violations, including the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their close monitoring of developments in Gaza, expressing deep respect and admiration for the sacrifices of the steadfast and free Palestinian fighters. They also extended a military and Islamic salute to the Al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, and all the heroic mujahideen across various factions who continue to defend the nation while others have turned away.

Since the outbreak of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen’s Armed Forces have intensified their military operations in support of the Palestinian people. These operations, part of the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad, have included missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli-linked assets, as well as naval and aerial blockades aimed at pressuring Israel to end its aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.
