US Urges Nations to Boycott UN Conference on Palestinian Statehood
News - Middle East: The United States has issued a diplomatic cable strongly urging countries to refrain from participating in a United Nations conference aimed at advancing a two-state solution, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
The report stated that the US opposes any steps that could lead to the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state.
According to the American memo, countries taking actions deemed hostile to "Israel" following the conference could be considered as acting against US foreign policy interests and may face consequences.
The Israeli occupation forces, with US involvement, continue their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, now in its 85rd consecutive day since resuming attacks—611 days after the start of the aggression—following Israel’s violation of the ceasefire agreement.
