News- Middle East: The Islamic Republic of Iran's Army says the current administration, enjoying the trust of both the people and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is striving with “firm determination” and a “steely will” toward the country's advancement.

Iran’s Army, in a statement on Tuesday, marked the Government Week, considering it a reminder of the sacrifices, struggles, and sincere services of the tireless martyrs Mohammad-Ali Rajai, Mohammad-Javad Bahonar, and Ebrahim Raeisi.

The statement noted that these great men “worked with faith, honesty, and sincere service on the path of the rise of Islamic Iran and became a valuable model for serving the people.”

The Armed Forces, as the capable arm of the Revolution and the defenders of the country's security and independence, have always stood alongside the people and the government, and have played and will continue to play a role in the path of construction and service to the people, it added.

According to the statement, the government, the people, and the Armed Forces form a triad essential to Iran's growing authority and under the guidance of the Leader, this alliance is a cornerstone for achieving the nation's noble objectives and ensuring its progress.

Iran’s Army underscores that, given the conspiracies of the enemies, today, more than ever, the empathy and unity of the people and officials is necessary.

The Government Week marks the annual observance leading up to the anniversary of the 1981 martyrdom of Iran’s then-president, Mohammad-Ali Rajaei, and Prime Minister Mohammad-Javad Bahonar, who were assassinated by the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) terrorist cult.
