"There is a reality for the Zionist entity that is very sick on the military level, and this is what worries the Zionists," Sayrouy said.
He elaborated that the Yemeni attacks have shaken Zionist confidence in the security of their vital installations. "Zionist vital installations—gas and oil facilities, airports, and key centers—have become threatened," he explained, adding that government meetings are now held "in closed underground rooms" for fear of being targeted.
Sayrouy noted that the interception rates achieved by Israeli systems now indicate a gradual failure. When actual interception rates fall below required thresholds, the ability of air defense to protect bases becomes questionable. He emphasized that a failure to intercept beyond a certain percentage means a "collapse in the defensive system," with scenes of failed interceptions gradually creating an "aerial drama" within occupied Palestine.
The expert highlighted the Yemeni tactic of intensively using drones to deplete air defense capabilities, thereby preserving conventional or hypersonic missiles for more distant and sensitive targets later. This method, he said, achieves a dual objective: "confusing Israeli defenses and striking the enemy's morale."
"Drones can be used intensively, and the tactic is to deplete the capabilities of the Israeli air defense and mask the use of hypersonic missiles for distant targets," Sayrouy stated.
He reinforced his assessment by asserting that these developments pose a "significant threat" to sensitive military centers within the entity and create a "state of disarray within the Israeli occupation forces" due to repeated breaches by missiles and drones successfully reaching vital targets.
Finally, Sayrouy addressed the failure of the "Zionist aggression" to impact Yemeni capabilities. A key weakness, he pointed out, is the absence of a clear "bank of military targets," noting that during its strikes on Yemen, the Zionist entity has targeted "civilian objectives" and failed to achieve decisive strategic results.
"In conclusion, the enemy lacks a bank of military targets," Sayrouy told Almasirah. "Since the Zionist entity began bombing Yemen, it has not achieved any results on the military level; it has always targeted civilian objectives."
Amid ongoing repeated Israeli aggression on the region, military analysts are increasingly scrutinizing the effectiveness of Israel's multi-layered air defense systems against attacks from Yemeni forces.
Since formally announcing participation in the support campaign for Gaza, Yemeni forces have increasingly employed long-range missiles and drones against targets across occupied territory and strategic nodes tied to the occupation’s transport and military infrastructure.
The latest reported use of a hypersonic, multi-warhead missile signals what the Yemeni military describes as a new phase of reach and lethality, while the synchronized use of UCAVs demonstrates an operational preference for multi-vector attacks designed to complicate interception and increase the chance of mission success.
