Analysts: Yemen’s Operations Bolster Palestinian Resolve and Complicate Enemy Calculations

News - Yemen: In separate interviews on Al-Masirah, Palestinian Diaspora Association head Mansour Al-Saadi and military-strategic analyst Brig. Gen. Omar Marabouni lauded recent Yemeni military operations as a significant show of practical solidarity with the Palestinian cause, saying the strikes have strengthened Palestinian morale and introduced a new strategic dynamic that complicates Zionist and US planning.

Al-Saadi praised “the great Yemeni people” for their land, sea, and air operations, saying these heroic actions boost Palestinian spirits and open new avenues of support. He described the Yemeni moves as a decisive stance against the genocidal siege and starvation imposed on Palestinians in Gaza. Al-Saadi also saluted fighters in southern Lebanon, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, and other parties standing with Palestine since the start of the Al-Aqsa flood, arguing that regional solidarity strengthens Palestinian fighters’ resolve and endurance.

He warned that Western and some official Arab responses are inadequate and accused certain Arab states of applying pressure that fails to protect Palestinian demands. He reiterated that Yemen’s forward support “keeps hope alive” and insisted the only acceptable response is firm rejection of what he characterized as the deceptive Trump plan.

Brig. Gen. Omar Marabouni framed the recent naval operation in the Gulf of Aden as evidence that Yemen has become a tangible actor in shaping regional political geography. He said Yemeni strikes are not merely military acts but have clear political and diplomatic effects that disrupt US and Zionist calculations.

Marabouni stressed that maritime strikes require highly precise intelligence and advanced weaponry—such as cruise missiles, sea-capable drones, and precision munitions—and that Yemen has developed the coordination, command and control, and technical capacity to carry out complex naval–maritime missions.

Marabouni noted that targeting a specific vessel demands linking route, owner, and cargo data with maritime security factors and the technical ability to guide precision munitions for a direct hit—capabilities he said Yemen possesses.

He added that while some global shipping companies may continue transits for economic reasons, many will reassess risk, and that the economic calculus of profit and loss forces companies to weigh those risks carefully.

Estimating operational tempo, Marabouni said Yemen could conduct “between 50 and 70 operations” in a given period (he referenced a month as a benchmark), a rate he described as significant and indicative of sustained operational pressure. He emphasized Yemen’s preference for calibrated escalation—using carefully chosen strikes to maximize psychological and political impact rather than relying on sheer numbers—arguing that a single precise strike that causes fear and attrition can be strategically valuable.

Both speakers insisted that Yemen’s actions strengthen Palestinian resolve and that regional support is a key pillar of resistance. They called on Arabs and the international community to adopt clearer, firmer positions against plans they view as capitulatory and to stand decisively with Palestinian rights.

Yemeni Naval Forces struck the MINERVAGRACHT in the Gulf of Aden with a cruise missile after accusing its owning company of violating a ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine. The Yemeni military has vowed to continue naval operations against Israeli-linked shipping across the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, Bab al-Mandeb, and Gulf of Aden until the war on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.
