In a speech on Thursday, the leader described the scenes of "Zionist annihilation" in Gaza as being "beyond description," asserting that the Israeli enemy continues its campaign based on "American partnership and support, and the terrible inaction of Arab and Islamic regimes."
He highlighted that over 2,500 casualties, mostly women and children, had occurred in the past week alone, with attacks targeting displaced persons and families in besieged neighborhoods of Gaza City. He noted the grim proximity of the conflict's two-year mark and the conclusion of the UN General Assembly's 80th session, yet the "Israeli enemy continues its genocide against the Palestinian people" despite peak global anger.
Sayyed Abdulmalik detailed methods he attributed to the Israeli enemy, including the use of starvation as a tool of genocide, the systematic destruction of remaining residential towers to render areas uninhabitable, and forced displacement to unsafe zones devoid of basic necessities. He emphasized that the Israeli enemy of "boasting about targeting women and children," employing methods marked by "savagery, depravity, and a relish for crime."
"The disregard [for these events] does not spare our nation the consequences," the leader warned, emphasizing the importance of continuous psychological and emotional engagement with the plight of women and children in Gaza. He argued that the ideologies producing "Zionist criminals" are rooted in specific intellectual and doctrinal foundations.
Shifting to the situation in Quds and the West Bank, Sayyed Abdulmalik stated that "Zionist enemies continue to violate the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque," citing recent intensive violations, including the ritual of blowing a ram's horn (shofar) within its precincts. He added that in the occupied West Bank, enemies target "even Bedouins in their grazing areas" with all forms of assault and continue to displace Palestinians from camps as part of a demographic change process.
The leader also addressed the issue of Palestinian detainees, affirming that the Israeli enemy is continuing crimes of abduction, torture, and persecution, and legalizing crimes to kill them. He pointed to prisoners who had "attained martyrdom under torture," stressing that "a crime cannot be legalized, a crime remains a crime, and rape remains rape."
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli military and settlers have intensified their aggression towards Palestinians throughout the West Bank, following the initiation of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, killing hundreds of Palestinians and injuring thousands more across the occupied territory.
Over 700,000 Israelis reside in more than 230 settlements established since the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and East al-Quds in 1967.
The international community considers the settlements to be unlawful under international law and the Geneva Conventions, as they are built in occupied territories.
