Leader Condemns Trump's Gaza Plan as 'Colonial' Plot to Eliminate Palestinian Cause

Leader Condemns Trump's Gaza Plan as 'Colonial' Plot to Eliminate Palestinian Cause

News - Yemen: The leader of revolution has launched a fierce critique against a proposed Middle East plan reportedly presented by the US President Donald Trump, framing it as a concerted American-Israeli effort to liquidate the Palestinian national project.

In his weekly speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi described the reported Trump plan as a "colonial scheme" designed to eliminate the Palestinian cause and Judaize the Gaza Strip, asserting it aligns with broader Israeli occupation plans to expand control over Palestinian territories.

He directed sharp criticism at the proposal, stating it "serves the interests of the Israeli enemy and ignores fundamental Palestinian rights." Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized that the plan entirely negates Palestinian sovereignty over Gaza, instead proposing an alternative administrative body involving Americans, British, and other foreign elements.

"This plan lacks any genuine vision for peace or justice in the region and aims to completely destroy the Palestinian cause," the leader stated. He accused American and Israeli officials of disregarding recent European recognitions of a Palestinian state, attempting instead to transform Gaza into a "violated zone, empty of any resistant or mujahideen presence from Palestinians."

He characterized the timing of the plan's announcement as a response to global outrage over the Israeli "brutality, aggression, and genocide" with American partnership against Palestinians, labeling the scale of the crimes as "horrifying, terrible, and shameful for all human societies."

Addressing the proposed Arab-Islamic role in the plan, he also accused the US of seeking to entangle Arab regimes in a security recruitment drive to serve Israeli interests. He affirmed the plan explicitly demands that Arab regimes work to disarm Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, and other Palestinian factions.

"The American direction is clear: to change the Middle East and have "Israel" act as its agent in the region, at the expense of the freedom, independence, dignity, religion, and rights of these Arab and Islamic peoples," he said.

Sayyed Abdulmalik strongly denounced Arab silence regarding the plan, urging action to reject it and support the Palestinian people. He warned Arab regimes against becoming a "tool of pressure in the hands of the Americans and Israelis against the Palestinian people and resistance," labeling any Arab or Islamic pressure on the Palestinian resistance as "treason."

He reminded his audience that "if the governments and regimes of our nation and its peoples move to obey the American and Israeli [commands], the inevitable result is a terrible loss," arguing that the ultimate goal of the "Zionist scheme" is to confiscate the freedom and dignity of the nation, erase its Islamic identity, and occupy and subjugate its homelands.

Despite the prolonged aggression, Sayyed Abdulmalik noted that mujahideen in Gaza continue their "heroic operations across most combat fronts." He reaffirmed the importance of adhering to legitimate Palestinian rights and not relinquishing them under any pressure, asserting that the "Palestinians are a free people," whose resistant factions make decisions based on legitimate rights of the people.

He concluded by stressing that Palestinian resistance is the only option for the people to restore their usurped rights, framing the American-Israeli efforts as presenting Palestinians with a false choice between "continued genocide or surrender."

The White House announced the plan that purportedly calls for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the exchange of "Israeli" captives held by Hamas for Palestinians in "Israeli" prisons, and a phased "Israeli" withdrawal from Gaza.

Under the proposal, Hamas would be required to disarm, and the US would work with Arab and international partners to install a so-called “temporary international stabilization force.” The plan also states that Hamas would play no role in governing Gaza.
