In a speech on Thursday, Sayyed Abdulmalik called on the Yemeni people to stage a "great, massive million-man march" on Friday in Sanaa's Al-Sabeen Square and in all other provinces and public squares. He described the planned protests as an act of "jihad in the path of God," a response to His command, and a stand in support of the "oppressed Palestinian people" against all conspiracies targeting their cause.
He urged for a "large, immense, and crowded" attendance to embody the values of the Yemeni people, addressing them with the phrase: "March forth, whether light or heavy, and move. May God bless you, record your reward, honor your faces, elevate your status, and achieve through you a great victory for the servants and the country."
The leader asserted that last week's Israeli aggression, like previous ones, would not break the will of the Yemeni people, who had taken a "rightful and great stance" in support of the Palestinian people. He positioned the Yemeni stance as a sacred jihad, guided by divine instructions, and not a "reckless, absurd, or silly" position, but one built on "great foundations" and "the utmost responsibility, wisdom, and correctness."
He emphasized that any sacrifices made within this framework are "calculated and fruitful" in the sight of God, and that suffering, whether in demonstrations or on the battlefield, is recorded by God. He described the sacrifice of one's life as a "great victory" and an ascent to the rank of martyrdom, accompanied by God's true promise of victory.
In contrast, Sayyed Abdulmalik framed surrender as the true loss, leading to complete enemy domination, enslavement, humiliation, and plunder. He warned that cooperation with the enemy, whether through action or financial support, carries a "terrible burden and great sins," deserving of God's curse and wrath.
On the military front, the leader confirmed that operations are ongoing, with the past week seeing the use of both missiles and drones. He revealed that the total number of ships targeted in support operations has reached 228, stating this was an important figure that testified to the seriousness and effectiveness of the Yemeni stance.
He noted the global recognition of the strategic importance of preventing Israeli navigation through the Red Sea to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Gulf of Aden, and boasted that the naval operations had achieved significant results in paralyzing the port of Eilat (Umm al-Rashrash), inflicting major economic losses on the Israeli enemy.
Sayyed Abdulmalik also praised the popular mobilizations of the previous week, which he said amounted to 1,416 demonstrations and vigils last Friday alone, following the Israeli aggression on Thursday. He additionally commended the ongoing military mobilization activities, including training courses, military marches, maneuvers, and displays in several provinces.
Since formally announcing participation in the support campaign for Gaza, Yemeni forces have increasingly employed long-range missiles and drones against targets across occupied territory and strategic nodes tied to the occupation’s transport and military infrastructure.
The latest reported use of a hypersonic, multi-warhead missile signals what the Yemeni military describes as a new phase of reach and lethality, while the synchronized use of UCAVs demonstrates an operational preference for multi-vector attacks designed to complicate interception and increase the chance of mission success.
