News - Yemen: The Deputy Chief of the General Staff met with the head of the national team for redeployment in Hodeidah, Major General Ali Al-Mushki, along with Assistant Minister of Defense Major General Ali Al-Kahlani, the head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Authority, Major General Abdullah Al-Hakim, and the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation to Yemen, Katharina Ritz.

In the meeting, Major General Al-Mushki briefed the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross to Yemen on the latest developments in the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the way things have turned out due to the aggression and the comprehensive siege, which led to humanitarian disasters that harmed citizens and targeted all vital sectors in the country.

He condemned the crimes of aggression and its mercenaries in Hodeidah and its recent escalation and the continuation of the military and espionage aggression on Hodeidah, considering that a clear violation of the Stockholm Agreement by the aggression and its mercenaries on the west coast.

Major General Al-Mushki denounced the bombings that occurred at Aden airport, which killed and wounded civilians, including employees of the Red Cross, considering these criminal acts as an inevitable and natural result of what the conflict has reached between the mercenaries of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. 

The head of the Red Cross delegation in Yemen affirmed keenness to exert utmost efforts to help Yemenis and cooperate with the Yemeni Government in order to enable them to overcome economic problems.
