News - Middle East: A number of activists in Indonesia have strongly condemned the latest Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, including the one that damaged an Indonesia-run hospital, calling on the international community to take action against Tel Aviv’s crimes.

In a statement, Indonesian NGO Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) said the Indonesia Hospital, located in northern Gaza, was seriously damaged on Saturday during Israel's relentless onslaught against Gaza. 

It went on to say that other health facilities, including al-Aqsa Hospital, were also damaged after five days of incessant Israeli attacks.

“We condemn Israeli aggression on civilians in Gaza and attacks damaging health facilities protected by international law. We ask the UN, OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), and the international community to put a stop to Israel’s raging crimes,” Sarbini Abdul Murad, chairman of MER-C’s executive committee said.
