In an official statement, the Political Bureau strongly denounced the continued Zionist aggression in the West Bank, particularly in the Jenin refugee camp in occupied Palestine, including the killings, arrests, destruction of buildings, and forced displacement of civilians.
It also condemned the Zionist enemy’s ongoing violations in southern Lebanon, which blatantly defy the ceasefire agreement under the watchful eyes of international mediators.
Furthermore, the Bureau condemned the recent statements from the US administration, which seek to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip—an attempt to achieve what the enemy's military failed to accomplish through sheer force.
The statement highlighted that the American role in Lebanon and Gaza is a key factor enabling the continued aggression of the Zionist entity, leading to its lawlessness and defiance of international laws.
The Bureau reaffirmed the legitimate and sacred right of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine to confront all forms of aggression, violations, and transgressions committed by this oppressive enemy.
It further noted that the ongoing violations in southern Lebanon and the escalation in the West Bank are desperate attempts to undermine the major victories of the resistance in southern Lebanon and Gaza.
The statement emphasized that the "Flood of Return" in Gaza reflects the unwavering will of the Palestinian people and their ability to defeat the occupation and achieve their right of return, despite Zionist attempts to suppress them.
Additionally, the Political Bureau praised the popular uprising in southern Lebanon, where thousands have returned to their villages and towns in defiance of Zionist aggression, reinforcing the steadfast equation of unity between the people, the army, and the resistance.
The statement concluded by congratulating the resistance forces in Palestine and Lebanon on their victorious return, reaffirming that these triumphs mark a significant step toward the liberation of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa from Zionist occupation. It also reiterated Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian resistance and the just cause of the Palestinian people.
The besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, following more than 15 months of relentless Israeli military aggression, backed by the United States. Since October 2023, Israel has waged a devastating war on Gaza, displacing nearly all of its 2.4 million residents and killing over 47,300 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
Despite a ceasefire agreement earlier this month, Israel continues its aggression, targeting civilians and impeding the return of displaced Palestinians. Israeli tanks recently opened fire on returning Gazans in Gaza City's al-Zaytoun neighborhood, adding to the growing list of atrocities. Over the past two days alone, Palestinian health officials have reported the recovery of 48 bodies, including 37 found beneath the rubble.
As hundreds of thousands of Palestinians defy Israeli attempts to permanently displace them, US President Donald Trump recently suggested a controversial plan to "clean out" Gaza. On January 25, Trump stated he had spoken with Jordan’s King Abdullah II about the possibility of relocating over a million Palestinians and constructing housing outside Gaza. However, both Egypt and Jordan have formally rejected any forced displacement plans, reiterating their longstanding opposition to efforts aimed at expelling Palestinians from their homeland.
Analysts warn that any attempts to resettle displaced Palestinians outside Gaza could serve as a pretext for Israel to depopulate the territory and repopulate it with Israeli settlers—an outcome that aligns with the long-standing goals of the Israeli occupation.
