Opening with theological grounding, Sayyed Abdulmalik defined the status of the martyr and the meaning of jihad as high spiritual ranks and noble stations in faith, not losses. He said the honor conferred on martyrs consoles families and inspires continued struggle, underscoring that readiness to sacrifice is an expression of deep religious conviction and national self‑respect.
The leader warned against a prevailing trend that treats martyrdom as anathema to life, saying that those who reject the value of sacrifice “do not understand the true meaning of faith” or the prophetic message that dignifies resistance. He contrasted two historical types of nations: those animated by the spirit of jihad and martyrdom, which preserve dignity, and those that surrendered to domination, which suffered subjugation and catastrophe.
Sayyed Abdulmalik reviewed historical episodes — from the Mongol sack of Baghdad and the Crusader invasions to modern colonial interventions — to illustrate the consequences of abandoning the culture of resistance. He cited reports on the human toll of recent Western military interventions, arguing these losses confirm the urgency of reclaiming a principled, Qur’anic approach to confronting aggression.
Turning to contemporary politics, he linked the Israeli aggression on Palestine to a broader imperial project led by American and allied powers, which he said aims to subjugate the Muslim world. He denounced those Arab and Muslim actors who have turned inward or aligned with foreign agendas, accusing them of abandoning sacred duties and enabling the enemy.
Sayyed Abdulmalik urged a moral and practical revival: a return to Qur’anic guidance, renewed readiness for sacrifice, and rebuilding of national will. He praised the “Qur’anic path” as a living example — pointing to Yemen’s own experience of persistence and self‑reliance, which he said demonstrates the practical fruits of a culture that values jihad and martyrdom.
Concluding, Sayyed Abdulmalik said the struggle against American and Zionist projects is existential and enduring, and that only steadfastness, sacrifice, and collective mobilization can restore honor and independence to the Ummah.
