News - Middle East: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah strongly denounced on Sunday the ongoing Zionist aggression, including killings, arrests, and the destruction of buildings in Jenin Camp in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the Political Bureau of Ansarullah explained that the enemy’s crimes in Jenin constitute a continuation of the genocide in Gaza and aim to forcibly displace people under terror and the power of fire. It emphasized that the enemy’s shift from Gaza to the West Bank, amid successive statements from the US administration, confirms that America is the main partner of the Zionist enemy in all its crimes and violations.

It further stressed that the barbaric aggression in the West Bank comes amidst the negligence of the international community and various international and regional bodies and organizations.

The Bureau reiterated its absolute solidarity with the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

Recent events in the West Bank underscore a continuing cycle of violence and destruction. Israeli military forces have intensified their offensive operations in the region, with massive explosions reported in the Jenin refugee camp. 

According to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, Israeli forces simultaneously detonated around 20 buildings in the eastern part of the camp on Sunday, causing extensive damage—including the destruction of up to 20 homes in a single residential neighborhood. Explosions were reported throughout Jenin city and even in neighboring towns.

This major offensive, which began on January 21—shortly after the start of a long-awaited ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas in Gaza—is officially claimed by the regime as part of an operation to thwart terrorism in the occupied Palestinian territory. 

The United Nations has warned that such deadly raids risk further casualties and the destruction of essential infrastructure. 

Since October 2013, the regime’s forces and settlers have reportedly killed at least 883 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, according to figures from the Palestinian health ministry.
