Protesters chanted slogans demanding the removal of the Saudi-backed government and occupation militias, holding them responsible for the city's catastrophic state.

Amid the escalating demonstrations, the UAE-backed Transitional Council militia deployed heavy military reinforcements throughout the city’s streets, raising fears of a potential large-scale popular uprising.

Aden is facing a severe crisis in water and sanitation services due to a complete power outage and fuel shortages, which have led to the shutdown of pumping stations and the overflow of sewage water into the streets.

Kidney failure patients in Aden have issued an urgent distress call after the dialysis center at Al-Jumhouri Hospital shut down due to power outages, putting their lives at immediate risk.

This worsening humanitarian situation follows an announcement by the Aden Electricity Corporation of a total blackout across the city after fuel supplies ran out at the Al-Raees Power Plant, the main energy provider.
