During a visit by Al-Masirah to the family of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, his father, Sayyed Abdulkarim Nasrallah, shared that in their last meeting, the martyr told him: "Do not grieve or despair. This is our path—the path of our fathers, grandfathers, leaders, and imams: the path of martyrdom. If anything happens to me, be patient and endure."
Regarding the continuous visits to their home, Sayyed Abdulkarim Nasrallah delivered a message: "If those who come and go truly love Sayyed Hassan, they must carry on his message and follow his principles." He emphasized that the nation still has righteous people, scholars, and leaders, adding that every visitor to his home is, in his eyes, like Sayyed Hassan himself.
Speaking about Yemen, its leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian cause, he said: "May Allah strengthen the Sayyed, the leader of the nation, and the Yemeni people, and grant them victory." He noted that Yemen and its leadership hold a stance unlike any other country.
Despite Yemen’s poverty compared to wealthier nations, he stressed that it remains the strongest nation standing with the Palestinian cause and the truth. He added, "I support them and stand with them."
Sayyed Abdulkarim Nasrallah concluded by recalling the words of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: "The people of Yemen are the foundation. The people of Yemen are our people, and, Allah willing, we are among them."
Sayyed Nasrallah was assassinated in Israel’s bombardment of southern Beirut on September 27, 2024. Using 85 tons of explosives, Israeli jets leveled six residential buildings in Dahiyeh, following a week-long bombing campaign that hit many areas from southern Lebanon to Beirut.
Hezbollah postponed funeral ceremonies for Hezbollah leaders due to fears of Israeli attacks on the ceremony.
Now, more than five months after the attack, Beirut’s airport and streets are seeing a steady stream of people, many waving Hezbollah flags and carrying images of Sayyed Nasrallah as they gather to honor him.
On Sunday, massive crowds from various regions of Lebanon and around the world converged in Beirut to attend the historic funeral procession for the martyred Hezbollah leader and former head of its Executive Council.
