He affirmed that resistance is the solution and called on the Lebanese state to manage daily affairs while leaving the battle to the warriors.
Former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb, wrote in a series of posts on his X platform page on Sunday:
In a series of posts on his X platform page on Sunday, Hazeb wrote: "We entrust you to Allah, who never loses His trust. You fought with bullets, words, and steadfast positions for the sake of Islam, Palestine, and Al-Quds, confronting the Zionist entity and offering unwavering support to Yemen and Gaza until you sacrificed yourselves as martyrs, Allah willing, on the path to Al-Quds."
He continued, "Though we accept Allah’s will and decree, your departure came too soon, while the nation still desperately needs your wisdom and leadership. We found strength in your presence and words. Our solace is that your name will always live on in my family. My son, Nasrallah, chose the title ‘Abu Hassan’ so that we, too, would have a Hassan Nasrallah in our household!"
Hazeb emphasized that no matter how much Yemenis speak, write, march, or hold ceremonies in honor of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyr of humanity, and no matter how many tears they shed or images they raise in cities and villages, "Abu Hadi will forever remain in the heart of every Yemeni." He praised Nasrallah’s moral, political, and fraternal support for Yemen during the Arab-American-Zionist aggression and the nine-year siege.
He pointed out that while the entire world abandoned Yemen, "this man and leader stood alone." Yemenis, he said, will always remember Nasrallah’s unique stance—while some waged war with fire and steel, others attacked with words, and some betrayed Yemen with silence, which was "the weakest form of aggression."
Hazeb concluded, "You will always be our guide with your wisdom and vision. We remain steadfast on the path of truth under the leadership of our striving commander, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, may Allah protect and guide him."
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike on southern Beirut on September 27, 2024. Israeli jets dropped 85 tons of explosives, leveling six residential buildings in Dahiyeh after a week-long bombing campaign across Lebanon.
Fearing further attacks, Hezbollah postponed funeral ceremonies for its leaders. Now, over five months later, thousands have gathered in Beirut to honor Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine in a historic funeral procession.
In an attempt to intimidate mourners, Israeli warplanes flew at low altitude over Beirut. However, crowds defiantly chanted anti-Israel and anti-US. slogans, reaffirming their support for the resistance.
The funeral is seen as a testament to Hezbollah’s resilience, despite losing top leaders and enduring relentless Israeli aggression. Meanwhile, Israel has escalated its attacks on Lebanon, striking multiple areas from the Bekaa Valley to southern Lebanon.
