News - Yemen: Senior member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, issued a defiant statement on Tuesday, addressing US President Donald Trump and the Saudi and Emirati regimes. Al-Houthi emphasized that Yemen would secure peace through its weapons and unwavering faith.

He pointed out that the very weapons the US threatens Yemen with are the same ones that have been used to bomb the country since the war began in 2015. "Yemen disregards American threats," he said, reaffirming the nation's steadfastness in the face of foreign pressure.

Al-Houthi also responded to growing threats from Saudi Arabia, particularly regarding its potential involvement in a future war against Yemen. "Yemen is considering its options regarding Saudi threats," he stated, underscoring the nation’s preparedness for any escalation.

Reflecting on Yemen's military advancements, Al-Houthi proudly declared, "In 2015, we lacked the missile and drone precision we have today," signaling the country's enhanced capabilities and deterrence power.

Turning his attention to the Saudi and Emirati regimes, he warned them against repeating their aggression, stating that any renewed attack would result in a disastrous defeat. "Do not repeat the aggression, or you will face a catastrophic loss," he affirmed.

Al-Houthi also reiterated Yemen's commitment to its revolutionary cause, emphasizing its steadfast support for the Palestinian resistance. He cited the leader of the revolution's promise that Yemen would stand by Palestine if the enemy breached any agreements. "Yemen remains resolute in its support for the Palestinian cause," he concluded.

Yemen has been embroiled in a devastating war since 2015, when a Saudi-led coalition, backed by the United States and Western allies, launched a military campaign against the country. The war began after Ansarullah took control of the capital, Sana’a, and much of northern Yemen, forcing the Saudi-backed government into exile.

Over the years, the war has evolved into one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, with relentless airstrikes, a blockade restricting essential supplies, and widespread famine and disease. Despite facing military and economic pressure, the Yemenis have significantly strengthened their military capabilities, developing advanced missile and drone technology that has enabled them to strike targets deep inside Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
