March 1st over 9 years: 41 Casualties in US-Saudi Aggression War Crimes on Yemen

News- Yemen: The US-Saudi aggression intentionally committed war crimes and acts of genocide on March 1st during the years 2016 and 2019, through a series of direct airstrikes, artillery, and missile bombardments targeting homes, properties, civilian gatherings, and pastures in the provinces of Hodeidah, Sana'a, and Saadah.

These attacks resulted in 9 martyrs and 32 injured, including women and children, as well as the displacement and deprivation of dozens of families from their homes and possessions.

There was a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah, causing terror among the people, obstructing movement, and leading to extensive humanitarian, material, and psychological consequences.

March 1, 2016: 33 martyrs and injured in a war crime targeting a major tribal reconciliation meeting in Hima, Sana'a:

On March 1, 2016, the US-Saudi airstrikes targeted a tribal meeting in the Bani Yusuf area of the Hima district, in Sana'a province, where a reconciliation document was being signed.

The brutal airstrikes resulted in 8 martyrs and 25 injured, the destruction of several cars, and a horrific war crime and massacre.

This attack adds to the list of ongoing crimes against humanity in Yemen since March 26, 2015, as a blatant assault on the Yemeni tribe and its traditions, values, and the Arab tribal customs, violating all international norms and agreements.

Targeting civilian gatherings is a fully-fledged war crime, a stain on the international community’s conscience, and one of the thousands of similar crimes committed by the aggression against the Yemeni people over the course of 9 years, with no international action to stop the aggression, lift the siege, or end the suffering.

March 1, 2016: 7 injured, including 3 children and 3 women, in Artillery Bombardment by the US-Saudi Aggression on Saadah:

On the same day and year, the US-Saudi aggression committed a new war crime by launching rocket and artillery attacks on homes and properties of civilians in several areas of the border district of Razih in Saada province.

This resulted in 7 injuries, including 3 children and 3 women, widespread damage, displacement of dozens of families from their homes, and further exacerbation of their suffering, alongside the terrorizing of women and children.

March 1, 2019: A child martyred while tending sheep by the fire of the mercenaries of the aggression and their ongoing violations in Hodeidah.

The crimes and violations of the aggression and its mercenaries in Hodeidah Governorate continue despite the ceasefire agreement, in full view and hearing of the United Nations and the international community overseeing it, with no action taken to end these violations or hold those responsible accountable.

For years, border areas in Sa'adah have been relentlessly bombarded, resulting in forced displacement, mass destruction, and the ruin of essential infrastructure such as schools and hospitals. The aggression follows a scorched-earth policy, turning Saadah into a devastated military zone.
