Grand Mufti of Oman Hails Yemen, Calls on Muslims to Support of Gaza

Grand Mufti of Oman Hails Yemen, Calls on Muslims to Support of Gaza

News- Yemen: The Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili, praised the strong, bold, and courageous stance of the Yemeni people, led by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in supporting Gaza and its people in the face of the criminal Zionist siege.

In a tweet on "X", Sheikh Al-Khalili stated that the situation in the beloved land of Gaza is tragic. In addition to the wars and strife that have devastated the land, its people are enduring a severe siege, despite efforts to end the war and lift the siege from this valiant and brave people.

He emphasized that this situation requires all Muslims, especially during this blessed month, to rush to offer what they can of good deeds, charity, and assistance, while also spreading kindness among family members, loved ones, and the poor across the Muslim world.

Sheikh Al-Khalili also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the brave, firm stance of the Yemeni heroes and their warning to the enemy, threatening to tighten the siege as a fitting punishment for their crimes. He referred to the four-day deadline announced by the Leader of the Revolution, set to end the siege on Gaza or resort to military force by targeting Zionist ships and interests in the sea.

He called on all people around the world to pay attention to the situation in Gaza and rush to support it, as the good deeds of those who help remain in memory. He urged everyone to unite in supporting the oppressed and take action against the oppressors.

This tweet by the Mufti of Oman comes as a response to the unjust siege imposed by the Zionist enemy on Palestinians in Gaza, amid an Arab, Islamic, international, and global silence. It also follows the stance of Sayyed Abdulmalik, who put forward a warning with a four-day deadline to lift the siege on Gaza before resorting to military action against the Zionist enemy.

Since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, following the Palestinian resistance’s Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Yemen has declared its steadfast support for Palestine. The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched military operations targeting Israeli-linked ships and striking Israeli targets, vowing to continue until Israel ceases its aggression.

In a speech Friday, regarding the latest regional and international developments, the Leader stated: "We announce to the entire world that we will give the mediators a 4-day deadline. If humanitarian aid is not allowed into the Gaza Strip, we will resume our maritime operations against the Israeli enemy ."

This comes after Hamas had urged Muslims for supporting Gaza, saying the tightening of the Zionist siege on the Gaza Strip, the closure of crossings for the sixth consecutive day, and the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza are all forms of genocide that continue to target our people.
