News- Yemen: On March 11th, during the years 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021, the US- Saudi aggression intentionally committed war crimes and genocide against humanity, through direct airstrikes, shelling by its mercenaries, field executions, kidnappings, destruction of infrastructure, and the exacerbation of humanitarian suffering in the governorates of Taiz, Hodeidah, and Sana'a.

These actions resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, including children, the terrorization of civilians, destruction of homes and educational centers, Hodeidah port, displacement of many families, increased suffering, and deprivation of thousands of students from their right to education, amid worsening living conditions and the tightening of the blockade.

March 11, 2016: War Crimes and Field Executions by the US- Saudi Aggression Mercenaries in Taiz: 

On March 11, 2016, the US- Saudi aggression mercenaries committed war crimes and flagrant violations against unarmed civilians, international humanitarian law, and the targeting of homes and economic facilities.

March 11, 2017: Martyrs and Wounded in US-Saudi Airstrikes on Hodeidah Port: 

On the same day in 2017, the Saudi-American aggression added another war crime to its record, targeting the vital Hodeidah port, which is crucial for securing food and medicine, with direct airstrikes. This resulted in martyrs and wounded civilians, destruction of cranes and maritime equipment, and disruption of humanitarian aid access for the affected and displaced.

March 11, 2018: Martyrs and Wounded, Including Children, in Mercenary Bombing of Civilian Homes in Taiz: 

On the same day in 2018, the US-  Saudi aggression mercenaries committed a new war crime by shelling civilian homes in the Samah district of Taiz province with heavy and medium weapons, resulting in martyrs and wounded, including children, complete destruction of homes, extensive property damage, and the displacement of dozens of families, further exacerbating their suffering.

March 11, 2021: Saudi-American Airstrikes Target Abu Nashat Scientific Center in a Systematic Attack on Educational and Religious Infrastructure: 

On March 11, 2021, the Saudi-American aggression committed another war crime with three airstrikes targeting the "Abu Nashat Scientific Center" in the Arhab district of Sana'a province. This resulted in the complete destruction of the building, which was considered one of the prominent educational and religious facilities in the region, where Islamic and Quranic sciences were taught, in addition to offering educational courses for children and youth.

The destruction of the Abu Nashat Scientific Center reminds us that the aggression on Yemen is not just a military war, but a war on the future and identity. 

The situation demands urgent action to impose international accountability mechanisms for violations of humanitarian law, support for the reconstruction of educational and cultural infrastructure, and the inclusion of the protection of schools and religious centers in peace negotiations. 

Yemen is living a humanitarian nightmare due to the ongoing aggression and blockade, which violate all international agreements.

The crimes of the aggression in Taiz, Hodeidah, and  Sa'adah, on this day, are but a small part of the widespread violations that occur daily. The international community is urged to take immediate action to stop the aggression, lift the blockade, hold the criminals accountable, and save millions of Yemenis from the clutches of slow death.
