March 22 Over 9 Years: 17 Casualties, Displacement in  US- Saudi Aggression Crimes on Yemen

Yemen: The US-Saudi aggression continued, on March 22 during the years 2016, 2018, and 2021, to commit war crimes and genocide against humanity through direct airstrikes and shelling by its mercenaries on homes and residential neighborhoods in the governorates of Taiz, Sa'adah, and Hodeidah.

This resulted in 10 martyrs and 7 injured, all of whom were children and women, the displacement and migration of dozens of families, the terrorization of residents, the worsening of living conditions, the violation of the ceasefire, and breaches of international humanitarian law, alongside shocking and tragic scenes.

2016: Displacement of Dozens of Families and Extensive Damage from Bombing on Taiz

On March 22, 2016, the US-Saudi aggression’s warplanes targeted the Sofitel neighborhood in the Al-Huban district of Taiz governorate, causing extensive damage to citizens' homes and the displacement of dozens of families. This created a state of fear among children and women, exacerbated suffering, and constituted a new, fully-fledged war crime, violating international and humanitarian laws that criminalize the targeting of civilian properties.

2018: 10 Martyrs, 7 Injured in a Genocide Crime on Two Homes in Sa'adah

On the same day in 2018, the US-Saudi aggression added another war crime and genocide against humanity in Yemen by directly targeting two homes belonging to two families in the Wadi Bader area of Ghamr district. This resulted in 10 martyrs and 7 injured, all of whom were children and women, the complete destruction of the homes, damage to neighboring houses and properties, widespread fear, terror, and grief, and the displacement of dozens of families from their shelters, fearing renewed targeting and increased suffering.

2021: Aggression Artillery Targets Citizens' Homes, Worsens Humanitarian Conditions, Violates Ceasefire in Hodeidah

In a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a new war crime, residential neighborhoods in Yemen's Hodeidah governorate were subjected to intense artillery shelling on March 22, 2021. This increased the suffering of civilians already exhausted by years of Saudi-Emirati-American aggression and blockade. The aggression's
mercenaries targeted the Khalid bin Walid neighborhood in the Al-Hali district with artillery fire, causing widespread destruction to homes, the displacement of dozens of families, and severe damage to property and livestock.

US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Nears Its 10th Year, with Millions Suffering from Displacement, Famine, Malnutrition

The US-Saudi-Emirati aggression is nearing its tenth year, with millions of people suffering from waves of displacement, famine, and malnutrition. Hodeidah, the most prominent strategic front in the conflict, faces repeated truce violations despite diplomatic efforts. Civilians, especially women and children, bear the heaviest burden, with limited access to healthcare or clean water. Meanwhile, the world's attention wanes, and the people of Yemen continue to cry out for salvation and justice.

At the present time the United States has embarked on a new folly in Yemen by carrying out sudden aggressive airstrikes on the capital, Sana'a, and other governorates, resulting over a hundred of martyrs and wounded.

The Ministry of Health and Environment announced that the toll of the American-Zionist aggression on civilians in the capital, Sana'a, and the provinces of Sa'adah and Al-Baidha has risen to 132 martyrs and injured, most of whom are women and children.
