News - Middle East: Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has said in a post on Telegram that the US government uses the US taxpayer money to fund the Israeli regime’s genocidal war in Gaza and denounced the new arms deal between the US and Israel.

The PFLP’s Central Media Department in a statement on April 15 denounced the new multi-billion-dollar agreement between the Israeli regime and the US.

“The US administration’s approval of a new multi-billion-dollar military deal for the Zionist occupation, which includes advanced equipment and munitions for the air force, is a continuation of direct American support for the genocidal war against our people” said the PFLP.

The PFLP has accused the US of supporting the Israeli regime’s ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza.

According to PFLP, the US is deepening its role as a supporter of genocide by sending arms to the Israeli regime.

The PFLP has called on the “free” people of the US to create a united front against the current US administration and the Zionist lobby and their heinous crimes in Palestine and Yemen.

“We call on the free people of America to escalate political and popular confrontation with the U.S. administration and the Zionist lobby, and to continue pressuring for an end to the genocidal war against the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples.”

In February, the US Congress approved the Pentagon to sell Israel precision-guided bombs, missiles, and associated equipment worth $7.41 billion.

The US is set to send a large shipment of munitions to Israel including 3,000 bombs and missiles as Israel intensifies its assault on Gaza.

The munitions package is intended to support the Israeli military to replenish its reserves, stretched thin by sustained military operations across multiple fronts for over 18 months.

The current agreement includes 3,000 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, 2,166 GBU-39 guided bombs, over 13,000 JDAM guidance kits for aerial bombs of various sizes, and over 17,000 FMU-152A/B fuses.
