News – Yemen: Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulmajid Al-Murtadha, emphasized the importance of raising vigilance and security awareness, as well as maintaining constant preparedness to confront any hostile attempts targeting Yemen’s security and stability.

His remarks came during a high-level meeting held in Sana’a Wednesday in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Interior. The meeting addressed the current security situation in light of recent developments on the national front, particularly Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the repercussions of the ongoing US aggression against Yemen.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister underscored the necessity of maintaining a high level of readiness to carry out any directives issued by the leadership—whether related to internal security operations or military confrontation. He highlighted the need to continue mobilization efforts and bolster preparation to defend the country.

For his part, Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major General Ali Al-Houthi affirmed that the Ministry remains at the highest levels of readiness and preparedness to carry out its duties across all sectors.

He stated, “The fate of the enemies is defeat and failure. All hostile plans aimed at undermining internal security and the home front will be thwarted—by the grace of Allah and through the dedication of the security forces and the loyal citizens of Yemen.”

The meeting was also attended by the Directors of Security for the Capital Secretariat, Moral Guidance, Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior, Command and Control, and the Security Directorate of Sana’a Province.

Al-Houthi added, “Any Us ground military movement will not succeed—it will be met with hellfire and the might of the faithful,” stressing that “repeating failed approaches will only result in the same outcome: victory, by Allah’s will.”

He further warned, “America must realize that continuing its aggression will only further erode its deterrence, exhaust its resources, and ultimately cost it dearly in any future battle.”

Since mid-March, the United States has been waging continuous aggression against Yemen in an attempt to pressure Sana’a to abandon its supportive stance toward Gaza. However, the Yemeni Armed Forces have reaffirmed its continued support for the Palestinian people.
