News - Yemen: The Ministry of Health and Environment announced that 10 citizens were killed or injured in an initial toll following US airstrikes on the capital and Sana'a Governorate on Saturday evening.

According to the ministry, seven civilians were wounded in Al-Nahda neighborhood, Al-Thawra District, and another in Al-Safiah District after a strike on the Majel Al-Damma cemetery.

One person was killed and another injured in airstrikes on Bani Matar District, west of Sana'a Governorate.

The US launched multiple airstrikes targeting Al-Nahda residential neighborhood in Al-Thawra District, the Majel Al-Damma cemetery in Al-Safiah, the Al-Hafa area with four strikes, the Najimat cemetery in Al-Sabeen District, and 21st September Park in Al-Thawra District.

In Sanaa's outskirts, US airstrikes hit Bani Hashish with three strikes, Al-Hosn with two strikes, Hamdan and Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah with two strikes each, and Bani Matar with one strike.

Additional strikes targeted Sirwah District in Marib and Harf Sufyan District in Amran with four strikes.

Sources expect the casualty toll to rise amid continued attacks and incoming reports from affected areas.

The escalation comes as part of US support for Israel, which is waging a campaign of genocide in Gaza. Sana'a, however, reaffirms its unwavering support for the Palestinian people, regardless of the sacrifices.
