News - Yemen: Yemen's President Mahdi al-Mashat has affirmed that the Yemeni people and their fighters have succeeded in breaking US arrogance and thwarting Washington’s plans. He vowed continued and escalating retaliation against American forces.

In a fiery speech during a meeting of the National Defense Council, attended by top military and security leaders on Sunday, al-Mashat emphasized the need for all government institutions to mobilize in service of the people.

He noted that the US aggression has failed since day one, and Yemen had obtained intelligence in advance that helped mitigate the attack’s potential damage. “We will never back down from our principled, moral, Islamic, and humanitarian stance in support of Gaza until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted,” he said.

“Every time you hear that the crazy American administration is mobilizing more forces, be more reassured,” Mashat assured the Yemeni public, confirming that, “if the Americans are escalating, it means their weapons have failed.”

He stated that the USS Truman lost command and control in the early days of the war. He revealed that most attacks on Yemen were not launched by Truman, which has since been rendered inoperative.

“The attacks on our country came once or twice from the Truman, while the rest came from other locations we are monitoring,” he said. “The Truman achieved nothing for the enemy, forcing them to bring in other assets and use different weapons.”

He warned that the unprecedented Arab silence and complicity toward Gaza's suffering calls for an unshakable Yemeni position, regardless of consequences. “We will never allow the US and Israel to isolate the Palestinian people,” he declared.

Directing his remarks at US President Trump, al-Mashat said, “Neither you nor your father can stop us from fulfilling our ethical and religious duty to Gaza.” He contrasted Trump’s reaction to a minor injury with the resilience of Yemeni civilians under US airstrikes.

“You’re facing the people of faith and wisdom. The world has seen a man and a woman who stood unfazed by American bombardment, like two mountains of Yemen. That man who wasn’t shaken by your air raids is a symbol to millions of Yemenis who aren’t concerned with your missiles, bombs, or strategic bombers.”

President Al-Mashat compared, “The Yemeni woman who withstood five bombs from your strategic bomber, while you, Trump, panicked when a single bullet grazed your ear.”

Al-Mashat reiterated that Yemen poses no threat except to aggressors—namely the US and Israel. He warned any parties supporting Israel’s crimes will share in the disgrace and defeat of this war.

The President stressed that the Leader  of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, through his strong positions, draws strength from this steadfast, genuine people and fulfills their aspirations.

He confirmed ongoing efforts to prevent Arab regimes from being dragged into the conflict and reassured the public that Yemen is prepared for all scenarios—militarily, economically, and internally.

“We lean on a strategic force—one people, one leader, one government, and solid institutions,” he said, highlighting the unity under Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.

Al-Mashat vowed accountability for traitors and encouraged tribal initiatives to document commitments against collaborators. He pointed out that “the security services are highly alert and monitoring all those who are getting involved in this battle,” explaining that “our security apparatus is aware of many attempts.”

“This is not a war of Muslim against Muslim or over legitimacy. This is a war of Zionists against Muslims,” he stressed.

He stressed that Trump achieved nothing in Yemen except the killing of civilians and the deterioration of America’s reputation due to his recklessness. “That foolish criminal Trump burned all of America’s cards—aircraft carriers, strategic bombers, and electromagnetic systems,” he added.

Regarding military achievement, the President confirmed that Yemen hasn’t suffered even 1% damage from everything the Americans have done, clarifying that “all the massacres were of civilians and civilian infrastructure.”

He further highlighted, “In just ten days, our fighters bypassed the so-called ‘electromagnetic interception system’ that the Americans used to threaten Russia and China.”

“The moment is ripe for every anti-American force,” Mashat declared, hinting at a major surprise: “News about the B-2 bomber will come soon, Allah willing.”

In conclusion, President Mashat reassured the Yemeni people, We have the necessary measures in place to nullify the ridiculous and illegal American sanctions on our country,” pointing out that Yemen will take strict measures against the United States and confirming that “the sanctions against Yemen will be defeated.”

“The Humanitarian Operations Center will soon announce a list of American oil and arms companies that will be subject to Yemeni sanctions.”
