Yemen: At a pivotal moment in the aggression against Yemen, where Yemeni blood intersects with the blood of Palestinian resistance, President Mahdi Al-Mashat chaired an extraordinary meeting of the National Defense Council. From it emerged a speech that serves as a strategic roadmap for the next phase, amid savage American escalation and a complex global shift.  

In a firm and sharp tone, President Al-Mashat confirmed that Yemen will no longer respond to U.S. airstrikes—the latest of which targeted *Ras Issa Port*—with a policy of "restraint," but rather with a doctrine of "escalation for escalation."  

This declaration was not merely a situational reaction but a principled and strategic shift. At its core, it carried a dual message to America and to allies and enemies alike.

The speech seemed to echo from a single trench linking Sana’a to Gaza. President Al-Mashat stressed that the aggression against Yemen is not isolated but an extension of the American-Zionist project seeking to break the will of free nations—from Yemen to Palestine, and from the Red Sea to the Gulf.  

Observers note that this connection is not merely emotional but lays the groundwork for a military and moral alliance, granting Yemenis added legitimacy in their battle and framing the response to Washington and the Zionist entity as part of a broader struggle for the liberation of the nation.  

The speech carried clear military messages that the Armed forces are ready, the arsenal is evolving and the balance of deterrence is shifting.

Though details were withheld, Al-Mashat hinted at "field surprises" and that Yemen "has not yet revealed all its cards."  

Conversely, his emphasis on a "solid domestic front" signaled that retaliation is not limited to the military front but extends to media, economic, security, and popular unity behind the revolutionary leadership—represented by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi.  

Between the lines, Yemeni sovereignty stood as the central theme: “No calls for de-escalation, no appeals to the United Nations, and no hints of compromise.  

This was a speech from a position of strength, not supplication**—a platform of unwavering resolve that rejects dictates, no matter the pressure.
