News- Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the downing of a US MQ-9 drone and the execution of two military operations targeting the US aircraft carriers USS Truman and USS Vinson, along with their accompanying warships, in both the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, the Yemeni military confirmed the downing of the US MQ-9 drone while it was conducting hostile missions off the coast of Hajjah Province.

The drone was reportedly shot down using a domestically manufactured surface-to-air missile.

According to the statement, this marks the seventh MQ-9 drone downed in April and the 22nd overall during the ongoing campaign, referred to as the “Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad.”

The statement also highlighted two military operations targeting the US carriers Truman and Vinson, using a combination of cruise missiles and drones to strike the vessels in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.

Despite continued aggression, the Yemeni Armed Forces asserted that their military position is “stronger than it was weeks ago,” stating they have adapted to developments, disrupted enemy movements, and thwarted multiple attacks.

The Yemeni Armed Forces further emphasized that they will continue to act “responsibly and appropriately” in response to any developments in the coming days. They also reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to “supporting and defending the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is lifted.”

In response to continued Israeli aggression against Gaza and ongoing US-UK aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.

As the genocidal war against Gaza intensified, the Yemenis implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt the flow of military supplies to their adversaries and exert pressure on the international community to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
