News – Yemen: The US military escalated its air campaign on Yemen early Thursday morning, launching nine airstrikes on various areas in and around the capital Sana’a, leaving at least one civilian injured and several homes damaged.

According to local sources, six of the airstrikes targeted the Barash area, located east of Jabal Nuqm in Sana’a province, while three additional strikes hit Jabal Nuqm itself, in the eastern part of the capital.

One civilian was lightly injured when a US airstrike struck the wall of a house in the Beir Zaid neighborhood of Al-Jiraf, north of Sana’a. Security sources confirmed that multiple homes were damaged in the same residential area as a result of the bombardment.

The US aggression continues to intensify its aerial assault on Yemen, striking residential neighborhoods and civilian sites, causing hundreds of deaths and injuries. 

In a related development, the Israeli military previously launched nine airstrikes on Sa'adah Province, while on the same day, the US aggression conducted ten additional strikes there—six on the Sahlin area in the Al-Salem district and three north of Sa'adah City.

The repeated bombings highlight an alarming escalation, drawing condemnation for targeting civilian infrastructure and contributing to the humanitarian crisis across Yemen.

These attacks are part of a broader US campaign claiming to deter Yemen from targeting Israel-linked vessels. However, Yemeni forces have vowed to continue their operations in the Red Sea and beyond until Israel ends its war on Gaza. 

In response to the genocide in Gaza and foreign aggression, Yemen has imposed a strategic blockade on key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt arms shipments and pressure the global community to intervene in the humanitarian crisis.
