In a commentary aired on Al-Masirah TV, Al-Abed remarked that the US aircraft carrier now “excels at fleeing,” unlike in the past when merely announcing the movement of one carrier toward a shore was enough to force a targeted state to sign off on every American demand—and more.
He added that Yemen, in this era, has managed to neutralize this kind of weapon, just as it had previously neutralized the Apache helicopter and many other advanced arms.
The political analyst stressed that Yemen’s decision was “the right one, independent and free from submission to the kinds of conditions imposed by the US—whether in the trillions or otherwise.” He cited the example of the US demanding $200 billion from Kuwait, of which $60 billion had reportedly already been paid, calling it a mockery and an insult to the dignity of nations and peoples—something Yemen firmly rejects.
Al-Abed described Yemen’s stance as “a service to the Arab and Islamic nation, and even to humanity as a whole,” which has pushed the aircraft carrier to retreat over a thousand miles, now stationed “at the edge of the Arabian Sea—which, in truth, is the Yemeni Sea, since Yemen is the origin of Arab identity and this reflects its natural place in the region.”
He affirmed that Yemen is reclaiming its civilizational role and its authority over the Red Sea and Arabian Sea straits, stating that Yemen is “carving out heroism by the grace of Allah.”
Quoting leader of the revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, he emphasized that what is happening is “a confrontation with America, leaving the major powers to stand in opposition to Allah—thus, Allah confronts them through those He entrusted, and He punishes them through their hands.”
Al-Abed argued that these are “historic achievements, surpassing mere success,” reaching levels that must be understood. He attributed these outcomes to the “Men of Allah,” who have prepared with whatever means they could—contrary to those who believed this nation couldn’t even make “toy guns,” misled by the portrayals in “their series, their news, their programs, and their Gulf and obscene media tools.”
He added that even countries considered industrial powers—like Turkey, Indonesia, and Malaysia—were unable to articulate such ideas and remained under domination. Yemen, however, made a decision “on behalf of the nation, its peoples, and even its systems—except for the stagnant, submissive, and dependent ones.”
Al-Abed described the current situation as “truly immense, serious, and on the highest imaginable levels,” despite the efforts of so-called neutral media to “undermine or downplay what should be reported.”
He criticized such media for failing to address the key points raised by Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi in his speeches, while “broadcasting Netanyahu’s sneeze in fifty or sixty reports.”
In conclusion, Mohammad Al-Abed asserted that Yemen “is executing a media strategy rooted in the truth it holds against the falsehood of its enemies,” adding that this continues “regardless of the limitations of our media resources—just like our military resources.”
Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.
The Israeli regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed at least 51,065 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 116,505 others. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.
