News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the successful execution of a military operation targeting the "Nevatim" airbase in Israel's Negev region, using an advanced hypersonic missile. The strike marks the latest escalation in Yemen's declared campaign against Israeli and U.S. targets in solidarity with Gaza.  

In an official statement, the spokesman brigadier general Yahya Saree confirmed that the operation was carried out with a domestically developed "Palestine-2" hypersonic ballistic missile, which reportedly evaded Israeli air defenses and struck its intended target. 

"The missile reached its objective, by the grace of God, and the enemy's interception systems failed to stop it," the statement read.  

The Nevatim airbase, a strategic Israeli military site, has previously been targeted in regional confrontations. Yemen's latest attack underscores its growing missile capabilities and willingness to engage in long-range strikes.  

The Yemeni Armed Forces also reaffirmed their commitment to resisting the American aggression and pledged further military development. “With God's help, we will continue to confront the American aggression and will not cease enhancing our military strength," the statement emphasized.  

Additionally, Yemen declared that its "defensive and support operations" would persist until Israel halts its offensive in Gaza and lifts the blockade on the Palestinian territory. "Our operations will continue until the aggression against Gaza ends and the siege is completely lifted," the military said.  

Earlier, Alarms sounded in the Negev and Be'er Sheva in the south of occupied Palestine on Saturday dawn following a ballistic missile launched from Yemen, according to enemy media.

Despite the enemy forces' spokesperson claiming the missile was intercepted before reaching occupied Palestinian territories, videos circulated on social media showed the missile flying through Palestinian skies simultaneously with the sounding of alarms and activation of alerts.

Enemy media reported that this marks the tenth time since the beginning of April that a missile has been launched from Yemen toward them, with alarms only heard in Be'er Sheva and surrounding areas.

Despite the aggression and crimes on it, Yemen continues its campaign in support of Gaza, persistently targeting deep areas of occupied Palestine in defense of the Gaza Strip, while also maintaining a blockade on Zionist maritime activity and attacking US destroyers and hostile naval vessels.
